British rocker Rod Stewart has been seen on a holiday in France with his wife Penny Lancaster, it has been reported.

Pictures published in the Daily Mail showed the couple in the French city of Nice, where they are currently taking a break with their three-year-old son Alastair.

However, the newspaper was not impressed with the couple’s choice of attire on their getaway to French property.

The pair were dressed in matching brown tweed outfits, complete with neck scarves and sunglasses, which the newspaper said made them stand out when strolling around the stylish French location.

The city of Nice is on the French Riviera and those who visit French property in the area can take advantage of a wide range of tourist attractions, such as cathedrals and beaches.
