Reaching Eastern Europe might be easier with a stop-off in property in SpainA summer 2011 stay in property in Spain could be the perfect way to split up a journey to destinations on the eastern side of Europe.

From March 27th, four new weekly flights are due to be introduced by Hungarian operator Malev between Budapest and Barcelona.

They mean property in Spain's popular city of culture joins Malaga, Palma de Mallorca and Madrid as potential stepping stones from which Budapest can be reached.

Malev suggests that Barcelona is the most popular of the four cities in terms of tourism; at five million visitors each year, it ranks as Spain's most frequently chosen destinations among overseas travellers.

It is also important in terms of the local Spanish economy, with a gross domestic product 44 per cent higher than the average for EU cities.

Malev's fleet consists of 22 aeroplanes, including 18 Boeing 737 aircraft, all of which it says are among the youngest passenger planes in use in Europe today.
