Property in Spain‘s capital city could be a good way to invest money for those interested in the fashion industry.

The internationally renowned Madrid International Fashion Week is home to some of the world’s biggest designers and the female fashion exhibition will be attended by all the country’s leading professionals.

As such, Madrid would be an ideal location for anyone looking for property in Spain as a holiday home in a fashion-conscious city.

Models will take to the catwalk during the festival showcasing the latest and most up-to-date collections designed by aspiring fashion professionals and some more well-known designers.

Madrid International Fashion Week aims to represent all areas of the industry and consumer market, with a selection of clothes ranging from evening wear to sportswear, and including underwear and plus-size clothing due to feature in the exhibition.

This year’s event will take place on the 4th-6th February 2010 and will cost around €30 (£26) per person.

Last year the show was attended by over 6,200 professionals and over 490 brand labels were presented.
