Property in France could be perfect for skiersProperty in France‘s ski resort of Val Thorens – the highest-altitude skiing village with guaranteed snow – could prove well suited to the needs of winter sports enthusiasts whether they are newcomers to the activity or experienced on the slopes.

Clementine Blanchard, spokesperson for the Office du Tourisme de Val Thorens, explains that different areas on the surrounding slopes cater for skiers of varying abilities.

As a result, property in France‘s largest linked ski area, the three Vallees, could be a good place to head if hoping to take to the slopes.

The three Vallees includes Val Thorens, along with popular destinations such as Courchevel and Meribel.

With 600 km of slopes across all the resorts in the region, it is the largest linked-up skiing area anywhere in the world.

"There are many other activities, like mountain-biking in the snow," says Ms Blanchard.

"We have an ice-driving circuit [and] the longest toboggan run in France; a distance of 6 km."
