A guarantee of snow makes a trip to property in France's largest ski region a sure betResidents of property in France's 3 Vallees resort of Les Menuires have been reminded that, if it does not snow, they can reclaim the cost of their ski pass.

The snow guarantee applies if fewer than four in five pistes receive enough snow to open – and the resort was the first to put the protection in place, says a local tourism official.

Regine Jay-Grillot, director of the Les Menuires-Saint Martin Tourist Office, adds that the area is the world's largest ski region.

The 3 Vallees district contains more than 200 ski lifts, along with 600 km of slopes to cover.

According to the tourism representative, "there is accommodation for all budgets" in the area.

This includes everything from two-person studios to apartments capable of accommodating ten people at a time.

Friendship groups, couples, families and students are all told that they might expect to find a residence to suit them among the property in France's popular resort, one of the ten biggest in the French Alps.
