Munich’s famous Oktoberfest is now less than a month away, offering visitors and possible property investors a chance to sample one of the biggest festivals in the world.

Bavaria’s most famous event will bring in visitors from all over the world to sample a huge variety of beers and lots of culture, with a huge quantity of sausages, leather shorts and oompah bands in evidence, as well as plenty of family-oriented entertainment.

Held in the Theresienwiese in the city, the event will begin on September 20th and carry on until October 5th.

While the Oktoberfest is perhaps the best-known aspect of Munich, the property scene there is highly promising for investors, it has been stated.

Last month nuwireinvestor.com noted that Property Wire had predicted Germany will only be very slightly affected by the credit crunch.

In addition to this, it said Munich’s growth has been above the national average and it is the cheapest city in the top ten for the Forbes list of the best cities in the world in which to invest.
