Sporting fans who own property in Italy could be pleased to hear news that English football hero David Beckham is set to make a move to an Italian team next month.

On December 28th, the midfielder is to go to AC Milan on loan and play for the team for the season ending May 16th.

Beckham currently plays for US team Los Angeles Galaxy but is most famous for his successful career with English club Manchester United.

Those with Italian property may want to snap up tickets to watch AC Milan and catch a glimpse of Beckham in action.

Beckham could even be joined in Italy by his wife Victoria and their children, who may end up searching for a luxurious Italian property to stay in while the midfielder plays out his loan time.

In a statement, AC Milan said: "David Beckham and Milan, Milan and David Beckham. The relationship is serious, the handshake is solid."
