Anyone heading off to stay in a property in Spain near Madrid will have a lot to look forward to when they venture into the city, it has been noted.
Guardian reader Edward Johnson made the comments in the publication, where he stated that "Madrid is a feast of the senses".
One of the main reasons given for this assertion is that there are three world-renowned art galleries within easy reach of one another.
Mr Johnson urged anyone staying in a property in Spain to visit the Prado gallery, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza and the Museo Renia Sofia.
Between them, these establishments hold works by the likes of Goya, Picasso and Velasquez, he pointed out.
Anyone who needs to buy some food during their stay in Spanish property should take the time to explore the grocery shops around Sol, Mr Johnson added.

Mr Johnson's impression of Madrid may just encourage a few people to turn to the city in their search for the perfect place to stay.
