The new year brings with it new opportunity to head to property in France and enjoy a celebration of shopping.
Promotion board Atout France explains that there are a variety of itineraries for the January event Soldes by Paris.
These allow visitors to property in France's capital city to choose the fashion that best suits their personal style.
After selecting from ethnic, bobo-chic, creative, trendy or "select" itineraries, shoppers can follow the route to find special sales offers on designs that should fit their wardrobes.
Some items are expected to be reduced to half price, while in all there are over 300 different offers to be found across the city.
The Soldes by Paris English-language website Shopping by Paris notes how the event fits some of the city's best-known characteristics.
Among them are its culture, romance and festivity, while Paris also offers loves of music, food and sport to those less interested in fashion.
