Recent gains by the pound on the dollar mean it is an excellent time to invest in Florida property, according to Sean Adams of Savills, who tells the Times prices in top tourist destination Orlando remain low, at around half what they were three years ago.
Mr Adams added that Florida property in Orlando is best for those looking for a long term investment, telling the newspaper: "In investment terms, you have to look at five to ten years for a return."
Current conditions in the Florida property market mean that money-savvy investors can snap up a bargain five-bed dream home with swimming pool, near to the main theme parks, for a little over £100,000, the newspaper reports.
