Those hoping to find their ideal Spanish property in Madrid may be able to break up their house hunting with a visit to one of the many events taking place at this year’s Veranos de la Villa festival in the city.

The festival, which is running until August 23rd, includes a number of different events, covering music, dance, theatre, flamenco and circus and film, among other things, meaning that those searching for Spanish property may find something to help them relax while visiting the country in search of a bargain.

A number of international artists perform at the festival each year, while lesser-known performers also get the chance to shine.

On the main stage, Escenario Puerta del Angel, two separate dance events are taking place until the end of the festival in late August. The Diavolo Dance Theatre will perform from today (August 11th) until August 16th, while from August 19th-23rd, Carlos Saura’s Flamenco Today will be performed.

But if such performances do not appeal, there are plenty of other activities to keep Spanish property hunters occupied in their time away from real estate. The numerous cafes, bars and restaurants dotted across the city could help to provide a welcome break from any search.
