Anyone jetting off for a break in a property in Spain over the Easter holidays will find that there is plenty going on all over the country.
This is according to a spokesman for the Spanish Tourism Office, who stated that the religious festival is "celebrated with a great deal of emotion" in the nation.
"People take an active role in its events and traditions. By day and by night, the streets fill with the sound of drums, the colour of flowers, and the art of religious scriptures," he noted.
All of these aspects come together to create a "highly moving atmosphere", the representative added.
Those who are visiting a property in Spain during this period may want to find out what processions and festivities are taking place in the area near them.
Skyscanner released figures earlier this week which showed that Spain is a popular destination among Brits this Easter.
Malaga, Tenerife and Alicante were cited as the top three locations for a break at this time of year.
