Spending time in a property in Spain while a fiesta is taking place may appeal to those booking breaks in the country this summer.
Cheapflights.co.uk has selected the top five festivals happening in Spain this summer, with Moros y Cristianos in Alicante placed in the number one spot.
The event runs over the Easter weekend – which falls on April 21st to 24th this year – and is celebrated to mark the Battle of Alcoy, when St George helped defeat the invading Moorish army in the 13th century.
Another option is to head to Seville at the start of May for a stay in a property in Spain, when La Feria de Abril is going on. Lasting for five days, the festival is a feast of music, food, dancing and partying.
Next on the list is El Grec in Barcelona, a five-week cultural event that offers theatre shows, film screenings and even a circus night.
Completing the top five are La Tomatina in Valencia and El Festival de Jerez in Andalusia.
