Menorca is a largely undiscovered Spanish gem and could prove to be the ideal location for those seeking property in Spain to visit.
This is according to the island's tourism minister Lazaro Criado, who stated that many people are unaware of what Menorca has to offer.
"Each area in Menorca is unique in its own right and the more roads you drive down and towns you wander through the more you will discover the true Menorca," he commented.
Stunning beaches are one of the island's best known features, Mr Criado noted, but he added that those staying in property in Spain will find plenty of activities on offer and lots of interesting places to visit.
Kayaking, walking, biking and surfing are among the things people can try while staying here, while he also recommended taking the time to seek out its megalithic culture.
Throughout March, the Menorca Tourist Board will be travelling to various UK cities, including Liverpool, Bristol and Birmingham, to highlight the attractions that on offer in the destination.
