Holidaymakers staying in a property in the USA may wish to visit the "laidback" city of San Diego, it has been suggested.
British Airways' Highlife magazine suggests the coastal destination could be the perfect place to enjoy a short break due to its "laid-back locals, great weather, fantastic beaches, superb food, plenty of good value and high-class accommodation".
The publication advises those staying in a property in the USA may wish to spend their time catching a game of baseball at the world-famous Padres stadium, or splashing the cash at the retail heaven that is Fashion Valley.
Furthermore, from June onwards it will be easier than ever to reach the city, with British Airways laying on direct flights from London's Heathrow Airport to San Diego.
Meanwhile, party animals may also wish to spend their time in the city soaking up the sights and sounds of the annual Mardi Gras festival, with the Gaslamp Quarter featuring a whole host fantastic parades and performances.
