According to a new report from TheMoveChannel.com, Bulgaria has re-entered the list of top ten destinations for overseas buyers. It has stated that July saw 3.3% of all searches being for properties in Bulgaria. This will be the first time in three years that property in Bulgaria has made it into the top ten list, however Greece and Thailand slipped in the list, showing that tastes and attitudes are changing, and there is a shift in the familiar markets.

Dan Johnson, Director of TheMoveChannel.com said; “As the Euro debt crisis continues, people are looking for bargain investments and holiday homes at low costs. Bulgaria’s real estate agents have been improving all year, with buyers attracted by exceptionally low prices for winter property, so it’s no surprise that interest has increased.”

The countries in the top six positions were all non-movers, with Spain at the top of the list for the second month running; France, USA, Italy, Portugal and Brazil all stayed in their previous positions. All six countries combined made up a third of all enquiries to the site.
