French property owners in the tiny village of Brignol may be soon be flooded with offers from eager buyers of both sexes.

The reason? Hollywood’s sexiest power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just bought the nearby Chateau Miraval, a luxury manor with true rock and roll credentials, being home to the famous Studio Miraval.

Frontman of music legends the Cure, Robert Smith, says: "We recorded Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me in the Studio Miraval.

"It is in the middle of vineyards, in a pleasant place. We lived there with our family, very relaxed, in three isolated and protected houses."

A host of iconic music stars have also previously recorded albums in the studio of Brangelina’s new French property, including AC/DC, Sting and Pink Floyd.

The stars have been renting the mansion since summer 2008, but apparently decided to make the French property a more permanent base for their ever-expanding brood, paying a reported $56 million [£34 million] to own it outright.

The couple first met on the set of hit movie Mr and Mrs Smith back in 2005, while Brad was still married to former Friends actress Jennifer Anniston.
