Property in Portugal's capital can accommodate groups on any budgetProperty in Portugal‘s capital city, Lisbon, could prove to be a value-friendly place to spend some time this summer.

Paula Oliveira, director of the Lisbon Tourism Office, explains that there are a number of ways in which the city caters for different budgets.

They include some activities at no cost at all, as many museums and monuments are open-access during Sunday mornings.

On a modest budget, people staying in property in Portugal‘s capital may choose to invest in the Lisbon Card – or Lisboa Card, in Portuguese.

This includes free local transport, free trains to Cascais and Sintra, and free access to municipal museums and monuments.

In terms of food, any budget can be catered for, whether it is modest or lavish, according to Ms Oliveira’s comments.

She adds that there are "several options" to choose from when planning to eat out, ranging to the "very expensive" at the upper end of the price scale.
