A little more leg room en route to property in Spain

Journeys to property in Spain could become more comfortable for tall peoplePeople who regularly fly out to property in Spain could soon find their journey a little more spacious, thanks to a new seat design from Jet2.com.

The airline, whose route map carries passengers to property in Spain's mainland and Balearic island regions, as well as the Canaries, has overhauled its seats with a more slimline and ergonomic construction.

Design work was carried out by a 6 ft 3 in engineer, while the shape of the seating is intended to accommodate people up to the 95 per cent mark in terms of population height.

In order to put the new chairs to the test, members of the Tall Persons Club of Great Britain and Ireland were invited to Leeds Bradford Airport to see how well they could fit into place.

Club director Louise Ross-Foden measures in at 6 ft 3 in and says: "Knowing we can travel comfortably on the Jet2.com aircraft will open up a whole new world of destinations for us; the airline definitely has the support of the Tall Persons Club."
