A stay in Italian property in February 2010 could be the ideal option for budding forensic detectives to employ their skills without the need of a crime scene.

That is because the CSI Mandria event takes place outside, in the Parco Regionale La Mandria.

Visitors to the park can witness some distinctive Italian property in the form of Vittorio Emanuele II’s hunting lodge.

However, it could be the walking trails contained within the park’s 30 km boundary walls that receive the most attention on February 20th and 21st.

CSI Mandria challenges visitors to put their detective skills to the test as they look for signs of life within the park.

The Italian national parks portal Parks.it asks: "Routes and paths swarm with life and inhabitants at every time of the day. What happens after their passage?"

With the afternoon of forensics due to kick off at 14:00 local time, wildlife enthusiasts and would-be detectives alike have the opportunity to answer the question for themselves.
