6TH ANNUAL CONSUMER GUIDE
The 6th annual consumer guide (2012) and member directory from the AIPP is now available in hardcopy and on-line, the latest on “How to Buy Overseas Property Safely” is a free publication aimed solely at helping consumers protect themselves through the purchase process by alerting them to potential problems whilst also highlighting key considerations when buying international property.

As a not-for-profit organization, AIPP offers impartial advice to buyers of international real estate and our annual publication is full of useful guidance, including the important ‘do’s and don’ts’ when buying a property overseas. The guide covers various topics including inspection trips, arranging finance, choosing what and where to buy, and the importance of independent legal advice. “Good, independent advice is much needed in this marketplace, and we produce this publication to help buyers of international property navigate through the process”, says mark Sharp, AIPP’s Chief of Executive.

Consumer awareness is a very important aspect of AIPP’s work. The information ticks all the boxes it is free, impartial, informative and enables the consumers to assimilate the knowledge necessary to buy either their dream home, or invest in international real estate with confidence and safety – an invaluable guide for the next 12 months.
