Heading to a property in Spain may be easier with extra BA flightsBritish Airways (BA) has revealed that it has doubled the capacity on its flights from London City Airport to Palma de Mallorca.

The carrier noted that it increased the amount of seats available over the summer in order to meet demand.

Flights will now jet off from the capital six days a week, a rise from the three times-weekly service that was previously provided.

People planning to spend time in a property in Spain on the popular island may find that reaching their destination is made easier by the increase in the number of flights available.

BA stated that it plans to offer six trips to Mallorca each week until October 31st this year.

The airline also travels to other destinations in the country, leaving from London City Airport, which could appeal to those looking for an alternative location for their stay in a property in Spain.

Ibiza, Barcelona, Madrid and Malaga are the other locations that can be reached on BA services from this airport in the capital.

While many holidaymakers may be intending to stay in a beach resort on Mallorca, those that take the time to explore Palma will discover a vibrant city home to a historic quarter, a cathedral, numerous monuments and various museums.
