Two Californian golf courses have been named in an article citing some of the best links in the world.
Writing for CNN, Thomas Dunne picked out two courses in the state in his selection of some of the top golfing destinations.
Staying in a property in California will give you the opportunity to visit Terranea – in Palos Verdes – as well as stopping off for a round at the Tap Room at Pebble Beach.
Mr Dunne commented that the green at Terranea is ideal for families, as children could be able to enjoy taking on the nine-hole, par-three course just as much as low-handicap adults.
Meanwhile, the links at the Tap Room could be the perfect place to visit with friends while staying in a property in California, as the club offers excellent refreshments to enjoy after taking on a course that has hosted the US Open five times.
The Pebble Beach Golf Links is due to hold the US Open again in 2019.
