Gregg Anderson, general manager of western long-haul markets at the organisation, explained that there are numerous factors that encourage people to make the journey to visit the nation.
"In general, I think UK travellers feel safe in New Zealand as it's relatively small, accessible and a really easy country to travel around," he commented.
Mr Anderson added that other things that may appeal to those looking for property in New Zealand are the stable economy, low crime rate and the lack of a language barrier.
For those who enjoy outdoor activities, New Zealand is the ideal destination due to its vast areas of unspoiled countryside.
Among the activities that people staying in the country can look forward to are walking and cycling, while skiing is also possible during the winter months.
