Stay in property in Italy and enjoy Naples and its surroundingsThere is so much to see and do in and around Naples that people planning a stay in property in Italy should ensure they are based nearby.

That is the opinion of Oliver Broad, chairman of AITO Specialist Travel Agents, who noted that Naples offers a vast array of things to do and sights to see.

However, he recommended that people searching for a property in Italy look to the coastal area around Sorrento because "Naples is very busy and noisy".

As well as being home to the ancient ruins of Pompeii, Naples is also situated near the Amalfi Coast, which boasts "wonderful scenery", Mr Broad enthused.

"My favourite daytrip from Naples is to the island of Ischia," he revealed, explaining that visitors can look forward to "a real off-the-beaten-track experience, a much more truly Italian feel with beautiful beaches, cafes, restaurants and thermal hot springs".

Ischia is the largest of the islands that can be found off the coast of Naples – with Capri and Procida providing other options for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
