Property in Italy may tempt Brits keen to move abroadProperty in Italy may entice the many Brits who one expert believes are eager to leave England behind and move abroad.

Director of Shelter Offshore Rhiannon Davies said individuals from many demographics are displaying an interest in relocating to another country.

As well as young professionals who want to try working elsewhere, retirees, business owners and families are also considering the option, she stated.

Ms Davies claimed there to be "very little" keeping people in the UK, which could mean some want to look at property in Italy as an alternative.

"Popular destinations, generically speaking, are countries that are either more affordable and where there is better weather or countries where there are jobs," she added.

Her comments come after research conducted by Sunshine.co.uk revealed 12 per cent of Brits would think about moving aboard to find a lower cost of living following the scheduled VAT rise on January 4th 2011.
