A stay in property in France in early 2011 offers holidaymakers the chance to take a break from winter sports in Val d'Isere in order to witness some world-class polo.
The Polo Masters Tour is due to arrive in Val d'Isere from January 11th to 14th, the third year that it has appeared at the resort.
Skiing enthusiasts need not worry that the sporting event will interfere with their favourite pastime – with matches scheduled for 18:00 and 19:00 local time, it simply adds to the apres-ski options available.
Over the course of four days of polo, teams from across Europe and Argentina are due to compete for the tour title.
The family-friendly resort offers winter sports facilities to suit the needs of parents and children alike, including starter slopes.
In the current season, its peak conditions began on November 27th and are expected to last through until May 1st 2011.
