Monaco is a highlight of the Formula One season. Owners of property in France might want to hop across the Channel this weekend for one of the most glamorous dates in the Formula One calendar – the Monaco Grand Prix.

Those with a holiday home in or around the principality can take in the action at the famous street circuit, which features the Loews Hairpin, not to mention the surrounding spectacle of the yachts in Monte Carlo harbour.

After the race is complete, the track stays open through the night, allowing fans to get a close-up look at its twists and turns.

According to What’s On When, visitors can also follow in their tyre tracks of the pros, as the La Rascasse restaurant offers the chance to be chauffeured around the circuit in a Ferrari road car.

What better way to finish off the day before returning to a welcoming French property?

Practice sessions for the Monaco Grand Prix start today (May 13th) but there is still plenty of time to make it to the south of France, as the race itself does not take place until Sunday.
