Art lovers who own property in Italy can head to a new exhibition which is being held at the country’s Museo Correr at the Fondazione Musei Civici Venezia.

Running until April 11th, the museum will be showing drawings from 19th century Venice which include hundreds of pieces, many of which are being put on display for the first time.

Those with an interest in art could find Italy a great country to buy overseas property in, as it is home to world-famous galleries and museums such as the Uffizi in Florence – which holds the Birth of Venus by Botticelli – and the Accademia in Florence, which is home to the statue of David sculpted by Michelangelo.

Museo Correr is on St Mark’s Square in Venice and at the moment, is also hosting an exhibition called With The Tip Of A Pencil, which features a drawing competition for members of the public.
