People with property in France will soon have more ways to reach their destination from locations across Europe.

Scandinavian airline operator SAS has announced plans to increase the frequency of some of its existing routes to European destinations.

It is also adding new routes to its itinerary, which could make property in France easier to reach for people who live in the Lyon area.

Lyon is one of four new routes to be added to the airline’s schedule for 2010, with daily flights to the French destination due to start on April 6th.

Lars Sandahl Sorensen, chief commercial officer of SAS Scandinavian Airlines, says: "We are pleased to once again open up new routes and offer our customers even more destinations and frequencies.

"No other airline in northern Europe can compete with our extensive network."

The new routes extend SAS’s coverage of France as a destination, with a number of airports in the country already receiving regular flights from the airline.

In the south-east of the country, Nice is already served by SAS flights, while the nation’s capital of Paris is also on the current route map.
