Those planning to go to a property in France for a new year break should head to the capital city of Paris on January 6th, which is the day that the city’s shops will begin their sales.
According to France Guide, the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, along with the Paris City Hill and the Paris delegation of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry will host Soldes by Paris, to mark the start of the fashion capital’s winter sales.
Those with a property in France planning on heading to the event can sign up for help from a personal shopper who can help them shop til they drop around the city’s well-heeled boutiques.
The guide noted that those signing up for the personal shopping experience can choose the profile that they feel they fit most into, in order to give their shopping helper an idea of their taste.
The profiles include Creative, Fusion Fashion World and Classic.
Paris is home to many high end shops, such as Chanel, Christian Dior and Yves Saint Laurent.
