Writing for Visit Florida, Kanika Jelks said that as Christmas gets closer, people should think about taking a weekend trip to the area, which is in the south of the Sunshine State.

Having a property in Florida to use as a base to explore the state may prove to be a cheaper option for curious Brits, as it removes the need to spend time looking for hotels each time they jet off to the US.
Ms Jelks noted that the area of Key Biscayne offers brilliant shopping, which could give Florida property owners a chance to stock up on last minute items for their festive Florida holiday.
