Families heading for a break to a property in Florida should take time on their trip to check out some native wildlife at the state’s John D MacArthur Beach State Park.
Located in the North Palm Beach area, the park is currently offering visitors the chance to get face-to-face with creatures including the French angelfish, Florida King Snake and baby loggerhead sea turtle.
At weekends, the park runs a special event where visitors can see all these creatures fed by park workers, which is a great way for families to spend a day out on a holiday to a property in Florida.
Those with a special interest in nature could also head to the park on a Sunday afternoon as part of a break to a holiday home in the state, as staff naturalists give talks about the Florida King Snake on this day.
Florida is famous for much wildlife, including the alligators that live in the state’s Everglades.
