A travel journalist on a holiday to the French capital city of Paris has assured visitors they do not need to spend a massive amount of time on the city’s main attractions.

Writing for the Daily Mail, Frank Barrett said in his opinion, "there is no visiting experience in the world that should legitimately take much longer than 30 minutes".

He noted that while many tourists may feel obliged to spend a lot of time at attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, this does not need to be the case.

On a stay in a French property which took him to the Louvre, Mr Barrett said that he cut down his trip to the museum into a visit to the key attractions that the world-famous museum offers – the Venus De Milo, Winged Victory and the Mona Lisa.

Mr Barrett claimed that the entire visit took him less than eight minutes, which could be of interest to French property visitors taking a trip to the museum.
