Florida property is to serve as the accommodation of choice for those attending the fifth-anniversary Women’s International Film & Arts Festival (WIFF) in 2010.

Scheduled to last from March 26th to April 2nd 2010, the event is a celebration of female artistic expressions across the visual media.

Founder Yvonne McCormack-Lyons says: "We’re really looking forward to our fifth anniversary event as we celebrate this special milestone year and continue to provide opportunities for women’s issues and visions to be heard on an international level."

The organisers of WIFF add that they believe every effort should be taken to promote the interests of women filmmakers, as they constitute only around seven per cent of the industry at present.

For those with Florida property of their own, whether a second home or a holiday flat, the event is to see delegates from more than 60 countries become their temporary neighbours.

With 80 films to be broadcast in eight days, WIFF provides a chance to attend an event previously named itself as the Best Film Festival by Miami New Times.
