Those who own Spanish property and are planning on taking a trip to the country in the next couple of months could be interested in the Madrid Autumn Festival.

Set to be held during this month and all through November, the Madrid Region Autumn Festival will be held throughout the capital city and in other towns within the region.

There will be theatre shows, dance performances and music events, notes the site of the festival, which is now in its 26th year.

Among the performers at the event is Hanne Hukkelberg, who those behind the festival describe as "somewhere between the likes of Tom Waits, the Cocteau Twins, Bjork and PJ Harvey", which could interest those who own Spanish property.

Plays on the event bill include Nunzio, written by Spiro Scimone, which is set to tell the story of two "enigmatic loners".

Madrid could also tempt art fans with Spanish property, as it is home to a number of galleries including the Reina Sofia.
