Reaching the final stages of this year’s X Factor competition has brought an added bonuses for six lucky acts this year – a trip to judge Louis Walsh’s luxury Italy property.

Louis usually takes his charges to his Irish estate for the ‘judges houses’ stage of the competition, where six acts are whittled down to the three who will participate in the live shows, but this year his stunning Lake Como Italy property awaited the chosen ones.

The acts will have little time to take advantage of the sunshine lifestyle offered by the famously beautiful Lake Como region, however, as they will spend their time at the Italy property undergoing a series of intense auditions.

Boyzone star and solo artist Ronan Keating will also be on hand to help decide which of Louis’ groups will be returning from the Italy property with a smile on their face or tears in their eyes.

Last year fellow judge Cheryl Cole took her final six – which included eventual winner Alexandra Burke – to a French property in Cannes for the penultimate round of auditions.
