Tourists from the UK are determined not to change their travel plans over the recent swine flu outbreak, which may come as good news to those with Florida property.

A new survey from Travelzoo has found that British tourists are the most resistant to letting the virus interfere with their hard-earned vacation, and still fully intend to travel to Florida property holiday destinations.

Sharron Livingston, editor at thetravelmagazine.net said: "The British are renowned as being keen travellers especially if the price is right.

"It is precisely because of this intrepid instinct that the low cost airlines [are] able to flourish and why the British are still travelling in the economic downturn."

She added, however, that pregnant women are advised to seek additional advice with relation to the virus before they travel.

The Travelzoo survey of over 10,000 travellers from 24 European regions, including the UK, Germany, France and Spain, found that 93 per cent of British people will not be changing their travel plans because of swine flu.
