A specialist French property firm has said that those looking to find a Brittany property can do so with £100,000.

VEF declared that buying homes in the south of Brittany is perfectly possible as there are many homes within this price range, with £100,000 equating to around €125,000 at present.

Commenting after speaking to many would-be buyers at the London Property show who wished to find homes in this area, the firm said examples of homes available included a two-bedroom property in a hamlet for €107,000, a village property with potential for expansion at €112,000 and a three-bedroom home at €116,000.

Therefore, the firm concluded, those looking to buy in the region would be well able to find properties to suit their budget.

Sextant Properties recently stated that Brittany will be one of the popular region sin France for British buyers this autumn, due to factors such as its food, attractive landscape and proximity to Britain.
