The region of Andalucia could offer Spanish property seekers the opportunity to snap up a bargain, according to a new report.

According to the Andalucia Property Market report for July 2009 from Spanish Hot Properties, house prices within popular areas such as the Costa del Sol, Costa Almeria and Costa de la Luz have fallen, presenting buyers with a golden opportunity.

Spanish Hot Properties managing director Nick Stuart commented: "When looking at the Andalucia property market I think the most important fact to bear in mind is whilst property prices may have crashed the cost of construction hasn’t.

‘In reality this means you can buy certain properties for a price you could never build for today and that is what makes the Andalucia property market very interesting.’

He added that the diversity of the Andalucioa region makes it a very popular place to buy Spanish property, with the cities of Sevilla, Granada, Malaga, Cordoba, Jaen and Almeria all contained within the area.

Popular tourist destinations in Andalucia include Casares, Alora, Conil, Gaucin and Marbella.
