And soon, theme park enthusiasts will have even more to look forward to with the launch of The Simpsons world!

Universal Studios have delighted fans of the animated TV show by announcing it will expand on The Simpsons ride by recreating the fictional town of Springfield as a new attraction.

Bringing toys and cartoons to life is certainly nothing new – Germany, for example, recently launched a life-size version of the Barbie house and all its well-known accessories. And Universal is already home to a theme park dedicated to Harry Potter, the series created by Britain’s own JK Rowling.

Yet it is the first time The Simpsons, one of the world’s most popular and longest-running television shows, has been turned into a three-dimensional wonderland, and is expected to draw a new crowd of visitors to the park from around the world.

Not a fan The Simpsons yourself? That needn’t mean that this new development is of no interest to you. Given Orlando’s enduring popularity as a holiday destination, many people from America and abroad own investment properties there, which are used as short-term lets. This enables you to enjoy family holidays in your own holiday property, and then rent it out to other holidays families the rest of the year to help pay for its upkeep.

And with yet another attraction to draw tourists into the area, such an investment could be right up your alley!
