There is to be a faster process when it comes to getting a tourist visa to America. US Senator, Harry Reid has stated that following President Obama’s announcement, that not only will tourism increase, but will eventually create more jobs for the locals of Nevada too.

It was only last week that Obama said the process of obtaining a tourist visa to America would be made easier in a bid to attract more tourists to the country. “As our economy continues to recover, the President’s plan to boost tourism will create thousands of new jobs in Nevada’s leading industry,” added Senator Reid.

The budget of Nevada does rely heavily on tourism so the more that industry flourishes, the better off the state will be. There is no income tax in the state of Nevada so tourism really does have a great impact; there are currently around 230,000 local people whose jobs rely on the tourism industry.

Reid went on to say, “Increasing foreign travel will create jobs throughout Nevada and our nation because international visitors spend more, on average, than their domestic counterparts…I am pleased that the administration will focus on growing our nation’s share of foreign travelers.”

The faster processing of tourist visas is great if you are wanting to holiday in the US in order to find your dream home across the pond. What better way to view properties in America than on a tourist visa, whereby you can take in all the sights and attractions too!
