If you are looking to buy a new property in Italy, then Castelfalfi could be just the place for you. It is the latest unique development from TUI, the European tourist company, and is based just an hour from Florence, in Montaione.

It is a new attempt to restore life into the medieval town of Montaione, in the hope that it will then become a working community, as well as becoming a tourist destination. Work is already under way to restore some of the oldest buildings in the town, and new areas will be introduced such as residential buildings and leisure and retail outlets.

The accommodation will cover a range of different property types including apartments, townhouses and villas. There will also be hotels and restaurants, a public swimming pool and golf courses.

The property prices in the area will also suit most budgets, and range from around €230,000 to €1.2 million for the luxury golf villas. These are great buy-to-let investments and the apartments alone could fetch between €500 – €1,000 per week.
