7 Home Offices You’d Love To Work From

It’s probably fair to say that most of us aren’t exactly blessed with a beautiful, serene office environment to work from. More often than not, your place of work will involve artificial lighting, a distinct lack of windows and a stained carpet ripped straight out of the eighties.

If this is the case then it’s likely that, at some point or another, you’ve dreamt about opting out of the dreaded morning commute for good, to set up your own home office and start living your fantasy of endless productivity, a clean and clear work-space – and much cheaper coffee!

So sit back and enjoy our pick of seven home offices we’d be more than happy to spend our working days in…

This Grade II listed home in Westminster boasts an old-school darkwood study with a curved office desk that would make us feel terribly sophisticated.

Situated up in Hampstead is this curious looking study. It’s definitely not your average office – see the high ceilings and buckets of space for a start – and it’s got a lot of character and charm to it. Sign us up!

This Clapham property boasts a bright and beautiful office that, if we’re being honest, we’ve rather fallen in love with. The colour scheme sets it apart straight away; we’re suckers for a row of bookshelves but the killer feature is the desk’s location right next to a huge balcony window. Just what you need to start the day off right.

Keeping things chic but simple, this home office at a property in Balham has loads of light, plenty of space for storing all your books and papers and room for a nice big computer desk too. Seems like the perfect fit for a home creative!

Getting a little kooky in Kent here with this one… the marbled top desk, the conservatory location and the unusual statues dotted around the room all make for one rather different home office. But the fact that it’s outside of the main building means we reckon it would be a quiet oasis to get your work done.

Then we’ve got this Derbyshire seven-bedroom period property which – as well as having a paddock and a swimming pool – also has this classic looking study. We can imagine ‘taking come calls’ and ‘signing some deals’ late into the night in here!

Last up is this Stafford property which has so much character throughout its four walls. And, frankly, we’re suckers for some exposed wood beams, so this home office is a winner in our books!
