Heading to The Fringe this August?

In light of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe soon approaching and the marking of The Fringe’s 70th anniversary we have selected the five most beautiful properties within Edinburgh!

The Fringe is the world’s largest arts festival and it is taking place this year between August 4th and August 28th in Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh. It is a truly open access festival, whereby no one is denied entry, therefore we want in!

Every year thousands of performers take to hundreds of stages all over Edinburgh to present shows acquired to every taste. To celebrate the upcoming Edinburgh festivities, we’ve decided to join in by giving you our top 5 Edinburgh properties.

First up is this 16th Century castle, which is located only three miles from Edinburgh city centre.

This castle is a Grade B Listed property, which is set over 3 storeys, including a stunning round tower that offers views of Costorphine Hill, Blackhall and The Firth of Forth. With superb character rooms, wonderful distant views and grounds in excess of 4 acres, anyone would be in awe of this beautiful property.

The next property is something far more modern, situated to the west of the city of Edinburgh within the highly regarded residential area of Barnton.

This beautiful detached home consists of 6 bedrooms and is a family house located in private landscaped gardens extending to approximately 0.78 acres. The property has recently been refurbished, so if you are looking for a traditional home with a modern feel, then this is for you.

Up next is an iconic home set within a superb Edinburgh location.

With commanding views over the city of Edinburgh, Beechmount House is perfect for watching The Fringe right from your own home. If that’s not enough to draw you in, there is also a former Coach House and a Gate Lodge in addition to the main property.

Up next is a magnificent five bedroom mid-terraced town house split over four levels.

This property is positioned on one of Edinburgh’s most prestigious streets in the east of the New Town. Carlton Terrace is located within the very heart of the historic Georgian district of Edinburgh, accommodating a large open plan kitchen, living and dining area, a gym and even a completely sound-proof home theatre. We like the sound of that!

Last but not least is one of Edinburgh’s finest houses.

Innerwick House is an enchanting stone built Georgian house with a detached Coach House. The property was refurbished and reconfigured to create free-flowing family living, making it the perfect home for hosting a family get-together in aid of the arts festival of the year.
