What Does 2 Billion Images Look Like?

Here at Rightmove HQ we have numbers coming out of our ears about just about everything. One number we’ve all been loving of late is the fact that we now store over 2 BILLION images!

To give you a bit of context, if we look back 10 years ago to 2003 when we were still toddlers of the property world, we stored a now measly 47,625 images! In percentage terms, the number of images stored has rocketed by a staggering 4,199,375%, which lets face it, still doesn’t really help quantify just how many images we store.

So after much head scratching, we’ve come up with what we believe to be some real WOW numbers to help paint a picture of exactly what 2 billion images might look like….
