Inside the most-viewed homes this month

The start of a new year is often a time when we see property lovers escape the gloomy weather by scrolling their dream homes, but this year, we’ve seen more people than ever on Rightmove in January, with more than 218 million visits in the month making it the busiest start to a year on record.

So which homes have been captivating the nation most? We’ve taken a look at the top five most-viewed properties, and they’re all pretty spectacular. From a Norfolk home with an indoor slide, to a striking curved mansion in Cheshire and a sprawling ‘mega-estate’ in Surrey, take a look to see which one is your favourite.

This contemporary pad in the Norfolk village of Besthorpe has been getting lots of attention already this year. Six bedrooms are spread across three floors, and from the top floor, there’s no need to take the stairs when there’s a bright green indoor slide connecting the galleried landing to the bedroom below.
