1. My Places *NEW*
Searching in a location that’s new to you? You might be wondering how long your new commute could take, or the drive time from your best mate’s to your new pad. A brand new tool, you can start your search and you’ll find My Places right next to the map on property listings, where you can check the travel time of up to five places that are important to you.
2. Instant Valuation and Renovation Calculator *NEW in 2024*
Our Instant Valuation tool gives you a quick estimate of a home’s value in a couple of speedy online steps. Whether you’re curious about how much your much-loved first flat might fetch, or imagining the payoff of those years of garden upgrades. It’s perfect for planners, as well as those just curious about what the next step could look like.
If you’re planning on extending your home, or you’ve carried out improvements already, our Renovation Calculator – another new feature we’ve added in 2024 – can give you an idea of how much value your project could add. Once you’ve got an Instant Valuation for a property, you can then add renovation details, and the numbers are crunched in seconds.
3. Mortgage Calculator
Our Mortgage Calculator takes the guesswork out of budgeting. Simply enter a few details like the property price, your deposit size, and mortgage term, and we’ll instantly show you an estimate of how much you could borrow, as well as what your monthly payments could look like. Whether you’re a first-time buyer or are moving on from a home you own, our calculator makes it easier to plan your next move with confidence.

4. Draw a Search
Instead of typing in postcodes or areas when you’re looking for homes, simply draw your ideal location directly onto a map using Draw a Search. Whether it’s a stretch along your favorite beach or a hidden pocket of the countryside, the tool instantly finds homes within your hand-drawn boundary, making it easy to focus on the spots you love most.
5. Property Lists
When you’re logged into My Rightmove, the ‘Property Lists’ feature lets you save your favourite homes into custom lists, and you can name them whatever you like (we won’t judge). Whether it’s “forever-home contenders” or the “utility-room-dream realised”, you can compare options at a glance, share links with friends or family, and view all the homes you’ve saved on a map.
