Three friends become neighbours with help from Morris Homes

Three school friends have become next door neighbours at Morris Homes’ Edgewater Park development in Warrington.

Cera Taylor, Olivia Mather and Abi Crowder, who have been good friends since they met at school, were delighted that they can now live next door to each other in their brand new homes.

Abi moved to the site with her partner Nick Lockwood because of its great location and the numerous young couples and families already living at Edgewater Park. She found the moving in process really easy, and moved in just eight weeks after looking at the property.

Abi said:

“The sales advisor, Giselle, couldn’t have been more helpful, and the process was stress free so we could just focus on the excitement of moving into our first home.”

Inspired by Abi’s move to her new home, Olivia and then Cera decided to move to the development.

Olivia said:

“The move was really easy, and it was reassuring that Morris were always available to deal with any issues. It’s great living near friends, and there is a real sense of community within the development, which can often be missing on new build sites.”

Cera said,

“We loved the site because of its convenient location, close to Stockton Heath and Lymm. The plots are a great size and we liked the variation in the types of homes so we could choose the type of home which was right for us. Moving in was such an easy process, I didn’t even have to take a day off work. I packed a couple of suitcases and picked up the keys. A lot of the work was already done for us on the house, with the pictures hung and the wardrobes built.”

The friends used the Morris Recommend a Friend scheme when moving. Under the initiative, a buyer at Edgewater Park receives £1,000 if they recommend a friend who then goes onto purchase a home at the development.
