Estate Agency All-Stars celebrates successful first year

Pioneering estate agency recruiter Estate Agency All-Stars is looking forward to a successful 2014 based on impressive results in its first nine months of trading.

Since the company’s launch in March 2013 it has:

Attracted 1,500 applicants a month

  • Estate Agency All-Stars received 10,000 applications from individuals seeking a property career, which it whittled down to the best 1% via a demanding selection process.

Successfully trained and placed 100% of its junior recruits

  • 108 juniors are now enjoying promising careers in estate agency, having received intensive skills and compliance training.

Achieved an outstanding 98% retention rate

  • The few All-Stars to leave their jobs within six months did so for valid reasons, enabling Estate Agency All-Stars to more than double the industry average of around 40%.

Estate Agency All-Stars puts candidates through a rigorous selection process that includes psychometric testing, video interview and telephone screening. The most promising applicants are then presented to prospective employers for interview. Once job offers are made, the budding estate agents learn the basics of estate agency during an intensive five-day pre-employment training programme run by renowned industry trainers. The combination of a thorough vetting procedure and comprehensive training means that new recruits are able to be productive employees from day one.

Joshua Rayner, managing director of Estate Agency All-Stars, comments:

“We launched Estate Agency All-Stars with the goal of raising standards and improving the property industry’s reputation for professionalism. We are happy with our progress but, more importantly, with the progress of our All-Stars who were able to hit the ground running and make valuable contributions to their firms’ success from day one.”

Estate Agency All-Stars is bringing a unique, value-added recruitment service to the industry, which is proving to be a hit with agents and individuals alike. All-Star James Rigby who was placed in the Watford office of the Imagine Group comments:
“I have done two deals so far this week, hopefully should have another one by tomorrow. I am really enjoying everything so far. The course has definitely helped me have confidence in what I’m saying – knowing the theory makes a world of difference. I’ve been using ‘The Magnificent 7’ (questions to ask) a fair bit and think that has really helped with qualifying. So all in all – so far so good!”

Another All-Star, Ellie Edwards – who was placed at The Times/Sunday Times London Estate Agency of the Year winner (2012) Anthony Pepe & Co – is also doing well:
“The training course was excellent – I really enjoyed it. Charlotte was an excellent trainer. I’m getting on very well and am excited about selling some houses.”

Hollie Jarvis, employed by leading Medway independent Greyfox, is another happy bunny:
“I really enjoyed the course and love my new job – everyone is so nice here. The role is interesting and is going to keep me very busy!”
